Position: Director of Electrical Engineering and Quality Management.
Andrew started his career in 1963 as an apprentice with Watford Electric in Watford. On completion of his training in all departments within the company and his college studies he became a Design Engineer in the Engineering Department. The company’s products are mainly control panels and MCC switchboards for a variety of different industries. In 1977 he moved to PALL Europe as an Electrical Design Engineer, designing complete control systems to automate the company’s products. The Pneumatics Division of PALL was sold and Andrew was invited to go with the new company, Pneumatic Products as the Engineering Manager. After 12 years the company had outgrown the factory at Horndean and decided to relocate to Newbury. Not wishing to uproot his family again, Andrew took the decision with a colleague to set up his own business – Engineering & Design Services (Solent) Ltd – offering a range of technical support to industry.

Position: Director of Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology.
Steve’s career began in 1965 with a full training program in the design, manufacture and installation of hydraulic systems. From this grounding Steve became a Contract Draughtsman working for a number of different company’s in a wide variety of industries. In 1980 he started his own company, Martas Designs successfully completing a range of design work for companies such as IBM, PALL Europe, Gravatom and Pneumatic Products. After 17 successful years Steve made the decision to join Pneumatic Products full time as a Project Engineer working on compressed air drying systems for sale to Air Products, BOC etc. When the company decided to relocate in 2002, he became co-owner of Engineering & Design Services with Andrew and left Pneumatic Products.
